King's Kids Pathfinder Club at Merrimack Valley SDA Church

Thinking about a place where your kids can grow, have fun, and make lifelong friends? Let me introduce you to the Pathfinders at Merrimack Valley Seventh-day Adventist Church—a community that’s a bit like Scouts, but with an uplifting spiritual twist!

What Is the Pathfinders Club?

Pathfinders is an adventure and leadership program created for young people, sponsored by the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Think of it as a hands-on, learning-by-doing club that helps kids build confidence, life skills, and character, all while drawing closer to Jesus.

Who Can Join?

The Merrimack Valley King's Kids Pathfinder Club welcomes all kids ages 10 to 18 (roughly 5th grade and up). It’s an inclusive group—no church membership is required—and families from every background will feel welcomed.

What Do Pathfinders Do?

Pathfinders is built around three big ideas: Adventure, Service, and Faith. Here’s what your family can expect:

1. Action & Adventure

  • Outdoor activities: Camping trips, hiking, and wilderness survival skills are a big part of Pathfinders. Kids learn to set up tents, cook over a campfire, and appreciate nature.

  • Exploring Nature: Members earn badges for discovering local wildlife, plants, and the wonders of creation—kind of like nature detectives!

2. Learning Life Skills

  • Crafts and Hobbies: From knot-tying and first aid to model rocket building and creative arts, Pathfinders try their hand at all sorts of hands-on experiences.

  • Leadership opportunities: Older Pathfinders help mentor the younger ones, build teamwork, and practice making good choices.

3. Service & Friendship

  • Community service: Ever heard of a food drive or park clean-up? Pathfinders step up to serve their community together, learning compassion and responsibility along the way.

  • Building relationships: Weekly meetings are filled with games, songs, and laughter. Kids bond over shared achievements and celebrate new friendships.

4. Faith in Action

  • Everyone learns by example—Pathfinder leaders model respect, kindness, and spiritual values. Kids take part in Bible discovery, discussions about faith, and projects that encourage personal growth.

Why Should Your Family Join?

Pathfinders isn’t just about what kids do—it’s about who they become. This is a place for growing character, developing confidence, and making memories as a family. Whether your child is an adventurer at heart or looking for a supportive place to belong, there’s a spot for them.
